DEEVA GORDON
began her career in the Arts as a grade school student in the city of Philadelphia, PA. giving birth to DEU Productions LLC in her 30’s. She is a current member of Theater for a New Generation in New York, NY, as well as Purposed Child Unlimited Theater group in Wilmington, DE, and Destiny Theater Ensemble Productions in Philadelphia, PA. Her love for the stage fueled her passion to obtain her own entertainment company to provide opportunities for others. Her hopes is that her company can be a combined effort with its members to display their work through theater and film. Deeva has written, directed, and produced multiple productions such as Lord I Prayed, Lindsey's Lesson, The Quilt, Is God Enough, Have You Seen Her, Dirty Laundry, and The Faces of Life stage productions. With her need to grow her writing talent Deeva wrote the Screenplay “Have You Seen Her” taking a chance to get her work on the big screen
Deeva’s current work includes a public demand repeat request for her stage production of Witness as she looks forward to her 2019 launch of Witness Screenplay. Along with her own work she also holds the seat of Writer and Director of Photography for the Series “Intertwine” under Sadior Productions, works annually for the internal operations of World renown “Sundance Film Festival”, and is an internet radio personality for the popular radio show “Dear Deeva”, where she offers advice on life situations, and the industry while giving many guest talent a platform for exposure and promotion.
While she successfully runs her own entertainment company she enjoyed working on "Brotherly Love" film directed by Philadelphia's own Jamal Hill. Her purpose is to bring real life issues to her audience for awareness and change. With her productions she has touched on many subjects such as Rape, Child Molestation, Cancer, AIDS, Domestic Violence etc. Her idea is to entertain and educate as many people as possible while she has a pen, through drama, action, and comedy while she has a platform, and audience. Deeva Gordon firmly believes in giving back and never giving up!
